Denzel Washington 'American Gangster' movie uses plot point

In this film Stan Shaw is an African American drug dealer who, once in Vietnam, gets an idea of how to possibly send heroin back to his connection in New York: ship the stuff back with dead soldiers. This is a single plot point in this film; in the Washington film it's the entire plot.

Either way, it started here with this classic cult film that is very underrated and that should be on DVD already for GODS SAKES!!!!

Company C ripped off the idea from the actions of the real-life gangster Denzel portrays in American Gangster.

Strange that,
ignoring the truth for a while and sticking to IMDB, care to explain how Who'll Stop The Rain has the same method of drug smuggling. that mnovie is based on a novel "Dog Soldiers" published in 1974.

the method of drug smuggling using coffins was originally pioneered by Frank Lucas in the early 1970's and became known as the "Cadaver Connection", Frank Lucas is the basis for "American Gangster".
