The Best Galactica Had to Offer

Favorite episodes?

The original 3-parter
Lost Planet of the Gods
Living Legend (duh. That's kind of like saying Connery was the best Bond)
Hand of God (this is the one that really leaves you wishing the series had continued)

Saga of A Star World was better as a many series. The movie was incredibly sliced up. They many series had a lot more to offer.

Living Legend was my favourite. The Hand of God, and Saga of a Star World and Lost Planet of the Gods, Parts I and II are also right up there. Honourable mention: I've always had a soft spot for The Man with Nine Lives, as it gave some insights into Starbuck's character, and his history.

I agree. It should have continued.

After Apollo who was played by Richard Hatch and Starbuck was played by Dirk Benedict left the show I think that it went down. Along with other main characters as well. I loved watching this show. It was great!

they didn't leave the show, the show left them. It was canceled after the first year because of costs. After a big outcry they came up with the Galactica 1980. The budget was a lot lower so they didn't higher Richard, Dirk etc.

Thank you for clearing that up for me. That is a shame that due to the cost of making the TV show they canceled it and then rebooted it in 1980 with a different cast. They should have brought back Richard Hatch, Dirk Benedict, and etc. for the show.

I agree, the show was only starting to take off, would have loved for it to go a few more years.

War of the gods - the uneasy atmosphere is very compelling...
