The long pauses and 19th century style facial poses
as though everything each actor said was of deep import which had to be thought over
were B-O-R-I-N-G!

There was a common belief then that
the series involved a spaceship because Lorne Greene became so fat
that they could not find a horse strong enough to stand with him on his back.
A rumor had it that he crippled a Belgian in the last episode of Bonanza
AFTER his tv porker-of-a-son, "Hoss" had already tired it out.

Where do people get the money to produce such krep?
