I learned about this mini-series, which is just 3 parts of the Kent Family Chronicles, at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Kent_Family_Chronicles . Anyone read the other Chronicles? Why wasn't the rest of the Chronicles adapted on TV?

I read the rest of the volumes of the Kent family Chronicles since they never did bother adapting the rest of the books. I don't know why they never adapted the rest, but volumes 4 through 8 are great reads.
