Two editions of the movie with different stories

Just came to IMDb after watching this movie (English dubbed version) and was shocked to see that some people think of the ending as brutal. Looks like that there are two editions of this movie.

From what I read on IMDB discussion, in the first uncut edition the girls are raped and murdered in the end.

The edition I watched, in the end the girls just buy a pack of cigarettes and walk out of the store.
