ROCK HUDSONS'S YELLOW TINTED SUNGLASSES

I just bought the DVD of this film today.
What caught my attention was the picture on the cover of Rock Hudson wearing yellow tinted glasses. They look like the kind that Elvis wore.
Don't you love the 70s.
Where can I get a similar pair today?

The 70's were awesome... in a funny kinda way.

This movie ramps up the 70's in every avenue. If I were a teacher and wanted to explain to students the 70's, I would show them this film.

"I'm a vehemently anti-nuclear, paranoid mess, harbouring a strange obsession with radioactive sheep."

I wouldn't show this film at all. It's bad in just about every way. I guess if you are a fan of really cheesy, silly disaster films with bad acting and even worse effects, this is the film for you!

Oh God, those hideous things were supposed to cut glare without making the world seem any darker, which is why someone at a ski resort would be wearing them. (It's not because they like the look of yellow snow)

Today you can get the same effect from the lighter sort of brown-lensed sunglasses, they're actually a deep yellow tone and they reduce glare and give everything a warm glow, and don't look as freaky.
