I got this movie a few weeks ago on video and the picture is so crappy. It's a good movie but the picture is just so crappy. And its quite clear that the shots of most of the avalanche disaster scene is archive footage!

Looks much better on the Blu-ray. Even the thick, black scratch marks, all over the avalanche archive footage!!

The HD transfer on the Scorpion Releasing DVD looks absolutely pristine.
