Hi I'm thinking of buying this film since I'm getting "House on the edge of the park" and would like this to complete the David Hess "trilogy" ("Last House on the Left", "Hitch Hike" and "House on the Edge of the Park")
anyway I'm wondering, is the Anchor Bay DVD of this uncut?

Dosen't the fact that you have to search around for the uncut version of almost every movie you want to see piss off anyone else? I for one think that you should be able to pick up any old copy and just assume that you're getting a complete movie.

Do they happen to have the truly uncut version of 'Dead Alive' (which as far as I know is only commercially available in Germany)?

I'm having some trouble locating the site were I first got this imfo. This may take a while.
shareTo hell with it. I'll just tell you what I've read; apparently the german version runs 104 minutes. I looked at the run time of the unrated US DVD and it only runs 97 minutes.
By the way, there is no such thing as Spanish Fly; that's not relevant, I thought I'd mention it
