Jay Leno

I saw this film when it came out and loved it. It was a great role departure for the late, muli-talented and always excellent Tim McIntire. And Jay Leno as Freed's driver was hysterical. I remember thinking that I hope this guy makes it. Too bad he never did more comic roles. I think he's even funnier as a comic actor from the little I've seen.

I liked it when Jay and his girlfriend played by Fran Drescher would be walking forward and talking, start arguing over some stupid idea and then ended up in the background still arguing though you couldn't hear what they were saying. The guys in the foreground drowned them out.

Leno has acted embarrassed by this role, which is ironic because it's probably the best thing he ever did, before he settled into his role as a cynical, boring second rate talk show host.

I was surprised that he gave such a great performance. He wasn't a bad-looking dude in his younger years too
