Theatrical version now available through the Warner Archive

Actually, I'm one of the few people not likely to buy the DVD from WB Archives. I already own Amazing Captain Nemo on video tape (got it on ebay last year...it is a decent print w/Japanese subtitles). If indeed WB was going to digitally remaster the film for the DVD then it'd be worth purchasing. But WB's site admits that their product is a video-to-DVD transfer and nothing more. This explains why it is the theatrical version coming out on DVD, and not the 3-hour TV mini-series.
