Great teen movie

Why does the movie have no message board? I remember seeing it in the late 70's and enjoyed it very much. Recently i was able to see it again, got it for Christmas. It predates "Fast Times", has the same atmosphere to it. Seeing Bruno Kirby so young (and alive) is a bit sad, a very good and underrated actor. If you're into teen movies, this is a great one that you just may have missed because it gets zero publicity. Oh, also Tim Matheson, just before Animal House. It could have been the same character, as you would see him in high school!

Unfortunately, the handful people who remember this film are decades away from teendom and are perhaps not very prolific on these boards, and as I recall this film didn't make that much of a dent to begin with. I remember watching it on HBO several times in the late '70s and early '80s, and I managed to find two copies of the soundtrack on vinyl, including one still sealed.

This film is really overdue for a rediscovery – or, perhaps more accurately, a discovery, because it seemed to come and go like the summer wind.

I love this movie.I had taped off of HBO a long time ago.I still have the video somewhere

You're very lucky to have saved a copy of this. I watched it on HBO several times when it originally aired, but it was a few years before I got a VCR.

Yeah it's a shame this film has gone under the radar, it's hugely enjoyable with a great cast.
