Shame it did not last more than 24 episodes
It was a great series ian should of been the next bond and roger moore should of return of the saint also
shareYeah it was a great shame they didn't do a second series, but I think because of the lavish locations and settings around europe it would have cost a lot of money to film back then.
Personally I'd like to see someone make a new version of the saint on tv. It's well over 30 years since this series first aired and apart from the short lived Australian version in the late 80's we haven't seen Simon Templar on the small screen since.
The series was made at a time of high inflation and the series was lavish with location filming.
It's that man again!!
