Disappointed

I purchased this version from "Robert's Hard to Find Videos" online; everyone raved about it and I had to see it!

I thought Joanna David looked about 20 years too old for this part. She's supposed to be a young girl and she had giant wrinkles running across her forehead!

I didn't find the acting to be inspired; the sets were of course '70s era and very stage-y, and even the Debussey was bugging me! Why would you orchestrate such gorgeous piano music???

So on that wonderful recommendation, if anyone would like my copy, just IM me your address and I'll send it off!

Not all people have the same taste, I'm sure there are many out there who would enjoy it.
