following the "Force" on Star Wars, Quark had help of sorts from "The Source." This was kind of funny as the Source was an unseen voice and unsure of his powers.

Quark was one big parody. Even the episode titles were parodies: All the Presidents Quasi-Norms(All the Presidents Men) The Good,The Bad and the Ficus(the Good,The bad and the Ugly)Goodbye,Polumbus(Goodbye,Columbus) and ,of course,May the Source be with you, a parody of the line from Star Wars.

The episode with Quark aging rapidly was a parody of an old Star Trek, if I'm not mistaken.

Also, in the 5th episode they are told to go look behind the "Rodenberry Bush".

I picked up the bush one...though I had to rewind it..."Did I hear that right?". There were so many take-offs from both Star Wars and Star Trek, it was great fun spotting them. Also, the console on the space station was out of Doctor Who!
