Need Help Finding Movie

This one was probably released in the 70's and was about a father and son hiking up a mountain in summertime. A small flying saucer followed them but they didn't know it and the kid asked a lot of questions. I don't remember how it ended. Fun late-night kind of movie.

Anyone else see this and perhaps know the title?
