Which episode was the 1979 season finale of Prisoner, Was it episode 79 or episode 82?

Somewhere it is listed as episode 82 but that can't be right because episode 79 was the final episode of 1979 airing in november of that year. Episode 82 did not air until January 1980 meaning it would have been the third episode of the 1980 season/season 2. Well thats how its listed on imdb.

Can someone please help with this as I'm pretty confused.

Karen shot episode 79 was definitely the Cliff-hanger to 1979, I remember this in my youth!
