Winchester: Fortunately, there will be only slightly diminished use of 3 fingers.

Sheridan: What do you mean, "slightly diminished?"

Turns out that Sheridan is a concert pianist.

This M*A*S*H episode spends a significant amount of time on the soldier-pianist subplot.

Interestingly, Stiers and Stephens shared a scene together in the Paper Chase episode "An Act of Desperation" where Stiers plays Brooks' tutor. He must have had a light schedule that week from M*A*S*H* to find time to slip over and do that one scene cameo.
