Who could play Kingsfield today?

I always loved this show and would like to see it remade. Assuming someone did so, who do you imagine could portray Prof Kingsfield today?

Martin Clunes-Plays "Doc Martin" on PBS from England. Kind of like "House" but in England.

David Ogden Stiers-The man can play any part from Shakespeare to stuffy jackass.

Many of these choices are excellent. I would cast Ben Kingsley.

After watching the cilps promoting "Ironsides" I am guessing someone like "Mr T" or Carl Weathers.

I recently watched HBOs Muhammad Ali's Greatest Fight (2013) and there were a few actors that played members of the supreme court that would be a good fit. but judging from the way they turned "Ironside" into an action hero I don't trust them to make a wise choice (I have not watched Ironside I am basing my opinion on the cilps promoting iy)

My 30 round AR-15 magazine and my 50 round Thompson machine gun magazines are standard capacity magazines I have no hi capacity mags all my magazines are standard capacity, 30 and 50 round mags. My AR-15s are not assault weapons nor are they high power rifles, they are sport utility rifles slightly larger than a ..22 caliber (.223)

I think David Ogden Stiers would be perfect as Kingsfield.

They'd cast a black guy as Kingsfield these days because thats what the networks would want, diversity even if the end product stinks...
