Not funny
Anyone else ever think this show just wasn't funny? Not sure if I'm alone on this, I might be, but I never found Robin Williams to be funny. His whole manic act just seemed like a sad cry for attention.
shareThe first season was awesome, I never missed an episode. It was such a smash hit I believe it finished 3rd in the ratings, which was HUGE for the time.
In the 2nd season, they moved Mork to another time-slot in an attempt to topple another highly rated show on either NBC or CBS. It didn't work and the show faded quickly, I use the term "flame out". ABC moved Mork back to the original timeslot(Thur 8PM EST?) but it was way too little, way too late.
