Great series with some fine performances and yes Mel Martin is a beautiful woman, but in real life no man would put up with Lydia and her antics.
From day one she was a bloody moody cow!, If I were Richardson I would have dumped her after the first date.
And she only got worse as she got older! The only thing that made her somewhat human was her illness toward the end of the story by which time I thoroughly loathed her.
She was very thoughtless, and lacked self-awareness, didn't you think? It's been around five years since I watched this; I need to see it again. I've forgotten a lot of the little details, but I do remember how thoughtless Lydia was, lol.
shareI agree, about everything except that no man would put up with it. On the contrary, most men would and do put up with bitches like her, just because she's beautiful! Most people don't follow the 'pretty is as pretty does' thinking that you seem to! It pains me to see perfectly nice men ruined by bitches like Lydia. But then, they should think with their brains.
