One episode was rated AO in Australia (adults only)

Back in the 80s, our rating system for tv was G, PG and AO.

The episode “the peacemaker” where Wilson has a gun was rated AO, but strangely aired at its normal afternoon time slot.

The amount of stuff I watched back then that was shown during kiddie time was a lot! The ABC used to show "The Goodies" at like 5pm or something that had heaps of adult jokes, even the Goodies themselves when they came to Australia in the 90's were surprised at how young so many of their fans were!

Hey Hey it's Saturday was also supposed to be a family show yet had heaps of innuendo. I don't think the ratings system really was taken too seriously.

I remember Colombiana, the movie, was PG13 in the USA but MA15+ when I got back to Australia. Not sure if they used different cuts for different markets, or different morals.

How silly! A volleyball can't even use a gun.
