Its sad that this girl let drugs take over her life in her younger years. I was watching an episode of Diff'rent Strokes.......Season 3 Ep 6 "Football Father" (1980), and she was high like a kite. Eyes bulging bucking every second, straight movements, looking like she was in a daze etc etc. As if the producers and directors cared that she was so high that she should've been sent home.

Its is very sad. I have to say that I have seen dozens of episodes and she never really looked "high" to me. She must have been a good actress because she played of that wholesome role with perfection. So sad, I felt bad when I heard that callers were straight up dogging her on Howers Stern's radion show, I heard she cried.

I wonder if they got away with that back then due to low def tv's which were also smaller, I can't say I ever noticed those sorts of things back then but these days I pick up a lot more details.
Sometimes a movie or tv show plot is so stupid that only the stupid can understand it.
I remember that my friend loved the show and had a huge crush on Dana Plato. He commented that on an episode she seemed really out of it and just staring into space. That was before the stories of drug use came out.
