Trouble Alert / Communications system

Seems like in many episodes, just about anyone under the sun can contact the Superfriends. From police to random ship captains. Must not be an unlisted number. I'm surprised shows like Family Guy or Robot Chicken haven't picked up on that and have some housewife contact them "My jar of pickles won't open and I have guests coming for dinner! Help Superman!"

And to top it off, their system must be bugged by the Legion of Doom, who seems to be able to activate the Superfriends' communications system and respond to things they just said.

Although on the flip side, it can seem to see/hear anyone and anything from around the world, even if they aren't anywhere near a communications system/device!
