Well yes a sort of Orac - but with no consciousness. I think real A.I will take off with Quantum computing -give it 10 -20 years. Add that to further developments in robot technology and by 2066 we could be shaking hands with our own version of Data.

Sadly I won't be around then :(

I guess there could be friction between Data and Bishop - but Data was more advanced simply because of his physics and maths ability. Bishop was bright but perhaps didn't have the memory storage capacity of Data (needed when they couldn't attach to the internet - or its equivalent)

Not in this lifetime! It's hard for us to get and keep satellites into orbit! ;-/
