I hope someone reviews this soon. I wonder how the transfers compare to the Koch media Germany blu-ray which were pretty awesome.
Got it yesterday, watching through it now. So far a stellar presentation, cleanest prints I have ever seen of the show and the sound is equal in quality. So far have been watching the widescreen version, haven't looked at the pan-and-scan but am enjoying it, watched the P/S enough. (both when the series aired and the DVDs later) More later as I go through it.

How much do they end up cutting off with the widescreen transfer?
shareI doubt the show will get to look much better, and considering how the effects were composed, the number of specks and frizzies in the footage is remarkably little.
There's a ton more detail I never saw in the DVD version.
The Definitive Set, which costs more but also includes the full frame editions, is worth it.
