Megas XLR with G-Force clone!

I was watching JLA unlimited tonight when afterwards I caught the first few minutes of Megas XLR. I just about died when I saw a G-Force like team even down to the voices and their names!(instead of Princess, you had Duchess.) They even had a villian that looked exactly like Zoltar!I loved this show when I was a kid. Made me go and get my old video tapes of the show to watch. It's amazing that something from the '70's can be such an influence still today. Check out that Ep of Megas, it was great.

I saw that episode when I was visiting family in Texas... I don't even see the show normally... but I saw that episode, and my god it brought me back...

My family down there had no idea why I loved it so much... I tried to explain... but how can you explain how awesome Battle of the Planets was?

It's from a different age... when there was no real concept of adult animation over here... it was a beacon of coolness in an otherwise barren landscape...

It's probably why I'm a sci fi fan today... after that I started watching shows like Star Trek and Doctor Who... and then it just grew... but Battle of the Planets shaped my future... (for that matter, I've noticed I have a marked tendancy to prefer guys who remind me of Jason, lol... so maybe it's shaped me in more ways than is healty... but what do I know?)
