Any reason why he started wearing a helmet around episode 9? I mean he's a robot right?...
There's something wonderful about a storm.
I think it was a design idea, to tie his appearance into that of the team, in costume, but it didn't really work, so it was dropped. It was probably conceived and animated first, but quickly dropped when the producers saw how it looked.
