scenes missing from/added to DVD

Others have noted that the scene that features Jake Tench and Will Beagle visiting the Luckett home for the first time (including Jenny hiding from Will Beagle in her "hiding place") is missing from the DVD. But the DVD does include a sequence that was in the original film but missing from the rebroadcast in 1993. I am referring to the part, about 1 hour into DVD disk 3, where Sayward goes looking for Huldah who has run away and is living with a man. This part was very good because it showed the animosity between Jake Tench, now pole ferry master, and Sayward, who once bit off Jake's ear and now wants to cross the river on Jake's pole ferry. On her return to the river crossing, after picking up Huldah, Jake tells her she must wait, so Sayward just drives the horse and buggy through the river to the other side, to a cheering crowd. Great scene, and I'm glad it is on the DVD.

Yes i know the scenes you are referring too with Sayward, Holda & Jake Tench that were missing from your 1993 version.

When i recorded it in 1996 my version had all those scenes you were missing.

Now the WB has it too but is missing others we both have.

It seems that a complete uncut version will always allude one.
It should not be so hard to get a decent uncut print of a movie, especially
from the company that actually made it,......Sheeeeeeeeeesh !!.
