With updates and remakes of superhereos with such things as "Lois & Clark", "Smallville", and "Arrow", wouldn't be be great to see this redone as a new TV series?

Television series for comic book characters aren't 'reboots'. They're just different adaptions.
A live action Spider-Man series would be nearly impossible to make.
Great idea, as long as it doesn't basically turn into a soap opera, I'm fine with it.
On a slightly unrelated note, I think The Authority should get their own cartoon series, in the style of Spawn. That way, it can be geared at adults and not be watered down and dumbed down.

They were actually going to do Spiderman and Hulk team-up TV movie in 1984. Cast from the two CBS, TV shows.
Years later, like the early 1990s, their was talk about a Spiderman live action series.
Neither TV effort ever materialized. Marvel thought it would have better luck with animated adaptions.
