i saw this in 77 at 12 yrs old with my big sis and brother in law.i liked it and at the time i thought about my girlfriend.yea its my wifes imbd name im under but at 12 yrs old the movie and song reminded it of her.now in 2008 im married 2 the same girl .yep from 12 yrs old and we still like the movie and song and wene i hear the song i still think about her.whats wrong with a girl goin after her dreams?the movie was real good now our kids watch it.

I watched this film on television when I was a child (in the 70s) and loved it. Once every decade it shows up on antenna television and its like a trip down memory lane.

I actually teared up at the end of this movie when I first saw it! Did anyone else?
