WORST FILM EVER MADE

this movie is a s%# show from the beginning. the child actor is unwatchable, the opening song is insipid and sounds like a Charles Manson reject, completely unbelievable plot, acting is vile, and actors can't stop looking into the camera---and these are the film's good qualities. Air sickness bags required for a viewing of this piece of dog doo. Joseph Brooks wrote, produced and directed. Clearly, he had someone by the balls.

NOT THE WORST FILM EVER MADE
THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF FILMS WORSE THAN THIS ONE
WHY AM I SHOUTING?

It's actually a sweet little film that I very much enjoyed.

reply

It was bad but I know worse movies, Moulin Rouge with Nicole Kidman, Glitter with Mariah Carey or "The Being" with Ruth Buzzi....LMFAO!!!!!!

reply

The child actress in the opening of the movie was bad.

Its that man again!!

I watched a minute of it. It WAS dreadful - so I recorded it so I can relish it at a later date. I found the shortage of Goyim a familiar concern.

It was difficult to ignore the sentimental yuckiness of the film. But I kept with it. My main problem was getting used to Didi Conn's voice. But once I had mimicked her a few times I felt better. And was able to continue with the movie. Rather than just switch it off. There was some interest in it. So not really the worst film that I've seen.

No, not the worst film I have seen. But certainly a very average film, including the acting, direction, and production values.

The film seemed like a "B movie". Also, if one compares the film to "Saturday Night Fever" which was made approximately the same time, and has similar themes (think about it) but seemed more modern and relevant then and even now.

Joseph Brooks may have thought that he made a masterpiece, but he was absolutely deluded.

What the film has going for it, is it short duration time.
