I quite liked the commentary track on this film.
The comments on how Bakshi stood up to Frank Mancuso
Jr. on the set of Cool World were funny. "Make the girl
wear Nike sneakers!" And Bakshi is like "Dude I wanna
quit this film".
Nice....and the reactions of the Germans to his film
was priceless.
Anyone else like it too?

I know hates this guy because he uses roto-scope.
I LOVE his movies-Have you seen Fire and Ice? Or
Hey Good Lookin'? Those are excellent animated
movies if you consider they were made in the 70's!
Wanna see Streetfight aka Coonskin. Found a VHS
copy to rent but the tape was screwed up and I
had to return it.
Oh well one day I will see it.

The funniest thing about the commentary track (when he's talking about the German reaction to the film) is how it looks like Avatar, Elinore, and Weehawk's lip movements are in sync with what Bakshi's saying. Even some of their gestures. It's quite hilarious.
shareWizards is a tight movie.
You have to admit, though, Ralph Bakshi did sound more than a little bitter in the conversation with him (i.e. Disney releasing Fantasia the same time as him, George Lucas being so successful with Star Wars)
He sounds like he's a pretty angry fellow having gone through Hollywood's meat grinder a few times
