I HAVE A QUESTION FOR LOVERS OF OBSCURE 80'S CARTOONS, PLEASE HELP!!!!

I okay, i'm looking for this movie?/show? that is from the 80's (maybe late 70's, but i dont think so). i remember watching it as a kid (i'm now 25) and there were (bear with me) AARDVARKS in space? i think there were 3 of them and one was a girl and the other 2 were boys and there was also a villian who i think was also a aardvark. i know it sounds like im high, but i know it existed. i thpought i found it when i saw a profile for this grateful dead movie called "wizards"? but that wasnt it (plus my parents hate the gd and wouldnt have that around for me to watch.) anyways if you could help i would be forever grateful...i havent been able to find this show for months....it probably hasnt stood the test of time, but maybe it has and i would love to see it again!!!
please help!

p.s.
i also remember it having a weird soundtrack ( maybe a little on the 'tangerine dream' side).

no, i found the cartoon, it's called "the raccoons"...but it has aardvarks in it...so i was close.
