When was DVD released?!?

The reason I ask this is because I noticed a lot of messages posted talking about the "count down" to the release. The odd thing for me is that my Girl Friend (after hearing me talking about the movie and the memories from my childhood I had with it) bought me the movie last Christmas. Yes, December of 2003!!!

Did she buy a bootleg by mistake? I've owned and watched this movie on DVD long before the date that everyone on these message boards were talking about it being released.

What's the deal???

It was released on May 25 2004. I remember this because several movies I wanted came out that day.

Well... I guess she unknowningly bought a bootleg because I've watched it many times before May 2004 (as far back as 2003) on DVD. It didn't come with any "Goodies" and I remember being very surprised that the music during the Main Menu was Pink Floyd's "One of these Days".

I'm a MAJOR Pink Floyd fan and when I saw/heard this on the Wizards DVD, I thought perhaps it was a subconscious thing from watching the movie as a kid (I didn't know who Floyd was back then).

I'll have to go out and see what's on the real DVD release...

Will the DVD release of Wizards come out in New Zealand? I haven't seen Wizards since 1999 and i would love to buy my own copy of Wizards on DVD.

I'm not sure if you're exactly supposed bump a thread from '04, I've bumped older topics though elsewhere but I have no clue on a NZ release.

If anybody knows when the Wizards DVD release will be released in NZ, please let me know.
