What do you think Wizards would be rated if it was released today?

yea, it may be a cartoon, but with todays society, graphic deaths, and the WW2 allusions, definetly (R)

Naw it would prolly be unrated straight to DVD.

I rented this a couple/few years ago based on the animation and box art. Personally I am into Heavy Metal and Fire and Ice from this era, but I found this movie to be boring and stupid. Completely lacking in entertainment. And I have a REALLY open mind. Did I just not get it? Now that I recently found out why that box art attracted me ( the same artist as Fire and Ice) I may have to go re-rent this, but still. I thought this movie was pretty bad. Sorry. I don't recall the rating.

It's rated PG. I have no idea how, but it is.

Graphic violence, strong language, and sexual content. This is complete R material.

Because at the time it was a little too harsh for G but not harsh enough to be an R. So PG some copies of the VHS tape were rated PG-13.
