Looking for more Post-Apocalyptic Fantasy

I remember watching Wizards for the first time a long time ago on VHS back in the good ol' days of video rentals. Expecting a straight-forward fantasy story, I was struck by the interesting blend of high fantasy (elves, faeries, dwarves, etc..) and its post-apocalpyptic setting, a rarity as far as I'm concerned.

I was wondering if anyone knows of any other movies, books, comics that have a similar cross-blend of genres like that?

The only thing that comes to mind is the Warhammer (or Warhammer 40,000) series of table-top games, but I don't think they are necessarily post-apocalyptic.

Funny enough, years before I ever saw Wizards, I wrote a post-apocolyptic Conan the Barbarian type story when I was in grade school. I should consider revisiting that story, I have it around here somewhere...perhaps this is an, as of yet, untapped market. :)

Save your time and energy ... let that market remain untapped.

How about A Boy and His Dog?
