Who was the voice of Abdul?

The Viking/Arab elf chief leader of the invasion force, who lived in the desert and greeted Avatar so heartily when his men ambushed the heroes. Who did the voice? He's not credited. He sounded a great deal like Brian Blessed.

I am guessing that this may be Michael Forrest. He was a very prolific voice actor in the 90s with the glut of anime dubs. In many of those, he is credited as Alfred Thor. Abdul has a trace of Forrest's gruff sounding voice that he used for characters like Dr. Gnomm in Wings of Honeamise.

Michael Forrest is probably most recognizable from his prolific career in a lot of peplum B movies from the Sixties. But probably his most recognizable role was that of Apollo in the Star Trek episdoe "Who mourns from Adonais".

Here's a role that his voice is well known for. It was sampled on the album Ghostface Killa: Feat. http://www.whosampled.com/sample/373166/Ghostface-Killah-Raekwon-Cappadonna-Fish-Crying-Freeman-Mafia-Meeting/
