Im with you. Ive liked this movie since i was age 11.
shareI certainly agree with you. But can you help me out with the title song? Do you know what group performed the vocals?
shareThis is by far one of the best classic comedic films of all time. Richard will be remmbered for his versitile rolles in this film which was groundbreaking to his surcesors.
shareCarramel - Stargard performed "Which Way is Up"
shareYou are absolutely right. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

It's certainly my favorite Pryor film "vehicle" primarily because he was able to riff on his Mudbone and Preacher characters. The scene with his wife and the vibrator is a classic too. It's just a shame that more of the movies that were built around Pryor as the star weren't of this quality or better.

I saw this movie at least 10 times and I still can not stop laughing.
I don't think many people have seen this flick.
Only 183 votes. That's pretty low for a movie database.
Right on. Just watched it and am dissapointed there's not much discussion. Interesting, though uneven movie. A lot of fun as a showcase for Pryor, comedically and dramaticly. Lonetta Mckee is smokin hot in this movie.
shareI am equally surprised at the lack of threads on this movie. This was one of Richard Pryor's funniest films, a little on the raunchy side, but falling-down-floor-funny throughout. Pryor played three roles and made them all distinctive and very entertaining. An unsung classic from Pryor.
