Has anyone scene the Seduction of Mimi, its what the movie Which Way is Up is loosely based off of? Same screenplay in some cases.

Well? whats it like?

The plot is the same as "Which Way Is Up?", each mobster in the movie has a dot on their face to use as a symbol instead of using flashy rings. The main character in the movie is runned off from home, leaves his wife behind, betrays her with two women and gets dumped in the end.

'The Seduction Of Mimi' is less slapstick oriented and the gags run at a slightly slower pace as it puts more emphasis on politics and social-issues then the remake that just kind of uses those elements as set-ups for gags. There are also some darker moments like a scene were people are gunned down at a communist rally. Still a funny movie, but if you're expecting it to be pretty much exactly like WWIU (like I was), it's style maybe off putting at first. Takes a little bit of getting used to.

What's really interesting is the wife he seduces for revenge. In SOM she's rather obese but in WWIU she's dark skinned and petite. I wonder why they didn't try to get a bigger boned women and if they were trying to say (like the big women a dark skinned woman isn't attractive?) which is disturbing
