They sure don't make 'em like this anymore. I really MISS this kind of old-school stunt/special effects. Everything nowadays is CGI and totally lacks realism. I'd actually rather watch reruns of this classic, than all the computer-generated stuff in "Avatar," or "2012." CGI cheapens the real stunts that actually used to be performed to enhance movies, and I don't think kids today even realize that before computer generated effects, people actually put their lives on the line and performed actual dangerous stunts.

Unless they watch Nitro Circus, LOL...they're keeping self-endangerment alive!

True, not to mention the fact that Testi did pretty much all his stunts himself since he had a long experience as stuntman beforehand.

I believe that a serious cut in budget for today's Hollywood flicks would be an healty measure since it would force those overpaid smucks to engage their brains more on how to do something "differently" with only basic resources, just as it did for this and many other films of the time.

Real stunts still exist. Now they're mainly found in Thai cinema. Look up names like Tony Jaa and JeeJa Yanin!

Yeah I have been watching a lot of foreign movies for that exact reason

Good choice. There are so many movies people miss out on because they don't want to stray too far from their comfort zones.

Agreed. The daring robbery at the police station along with the shoot outs in the chemical plant and at the construction site were all expertly staged and exciting set pieces. The fact that everything in this movie was done practically gives all the action scenes an element of true danger and hence makes them that much more potent and rousing.

Agree %100. Fabio Testi did his own stunts in this one, no stunt double. he really has BALLS! Can you imagine these Hollywood movie stars today doing this? They would be afraid to ruin their manicures.
