i think this has to be the worst movie of peter cushings long and v distinguished career and definitly the worst of the anthologies but i do have it in my dvd collection maybe subconsiously i like it i dont know

It is pretty bad but The Monster Club is worse me thinks. Indeed Cushing made some pretty dire films around this time Star Wars excluded of course. The Devil's Men aka Land of the Minotaur gets my vote as his worst.

The Monster Club AND Torture Garden were a lot worse than this. The best ones have to be The House That Dripped Blood and Dr. Terror's House of Horrors (which both starred Cushing).

Torture Garden had great stories and it very underrated and The Monster Club's last story was creepy as hell.

I actually enjoyed this film quite a lot. I have been a lifelong lover of cats and horror films so when the two are mixed together, I am always pleased. Also, anthology movies are some of my favorite type of horror films. Peter Cushing and all the rest of the cast are great and I feel this film is underrated. No one talks about it very often and they should.
