REALLY LIKED THIS FILM....

This is my favorite film of Ms. Bancroft`s(loved her in 84 Charing Cross Road and Torch Song Trilogy, too.)

When I saw this film as a kid, it gave me that understanding about living with the choices we make. MacLaine`s character chose to raise a family and live on the outskirts of the dancing world. Bancroft`s character chose to live in the dancer`s world, tho her brilliant career was coming to a close. What we want sometimes means making sacrifices. And you have to make your own happiness.
