I've always found the ending to be incredibly sad

Don't get me wrong, I think TINTORERA is a ridiculous, awful movie in a lot of ways. However, I've always been somewhat moved by the ending. I think it's because it's ultimately about tragedy in paradise, and fleeting happiness, and memories of a hot summer threesome that'll never happen again, because you're too old, or you were eaten by a shark. Sigh. "Together until goodbye," indeed! Sniff.
