I'm afraid that I don't understand.

What happened?

I don't know exactly what he means, either. Tarantino used the soundtrack music from Tentacles for something HE made? I didn't hear anything about that...what movie was it, the "Grindhouse" movie he and Robert Rodriguez directed? That was 2007 & I don't really recall what the soundtrack was like, although I remember it had a lot of heavy Rob Zombie songs & similar music It seems weird that he'd take a basically almost entirely orchestrated (including the harpsichord LOL) soundtrack that was made specifically for a particular movie, including the incidental music, and us it in a movie of his own.

A 60million dollar grindhouse homage
I assume he's talking about the 2007 movie "Grindhouse" that Tarantino (the "Death Proof" half of the movie) did as an homage to, obviously, grindhouse movies, with director Robert Rodriguez (his was the "Planet Terror" half of the movie). Was that movie actually 60 million dollars to produce?! It was a real disappointment, to me...I was really looking forward to it when it was in production, and when it finally came out...UGH...it just failed horribly, in more ways than one. Then when it was released on DVD, you actually had to buy each HALF of the movie separately, even though in the movies it was shown as ONE MOVIE, and that pissed a lot of people off! But, that's a different messageboard altogether...
oh lord, let us pray he gets it someday.
HUH?! I have no idea what that's supposed to mean. "Get it" as in, karma ~ gets what's coming to him? Is that something good, or something bad? Or do you mean "get it" as in, borrows a clue and finally understands what's going on around him? LOL this one's a real thinker.

Grindhouse was awesome.

And I KNOW the OP isn't acting as this POS is some materpiece or anything. And he never used music from this movie in Grindhouse.

P.S.- Cocaine is a helluva drug, remember that!

He used about 10 seconds of a track from 'La polizia sta a guardare' during the car chase in Death Proof, which sounds the same as a track from this, as its the same composer Stelvio Cipriani.

Damn it does sound very similar to the 'Too Risky A Day For A Regatta' song.

That is correct!👍

At least Tarantino doesn't make PG-13 Twilight type of movies

I was thinking someone should sample the music from this movie in a pop song. It sounds pretty good to dance to at times.
