1. The baby is called Billy by the mom. Then later the police chief says "she" was only 10 months old.

2. The fat Italian starts yelling "Jack" when he is alone in the sea but the man he was referring to was called "Don".

3. Shelley Winters gets her son and his friend mixed up when she is talking on the radio. Her son is called Tommy. But at first she starts saying "Jamie, Jamie don't tease your mother."

One of the goofs listed isn't a goof because the man feeding the killer whale was Will Gleason he was wearing a white t-shirt and there were two killer whales in the pool. You can see in a wide shot him holding a fish out to the killer whale.

The wetsuit worn by Bo Hopkins on the boat is different than his diving double wore underwater.

To be fair, some girls are named Billy.

She the mother calls him a big boy. It's very important to me that we get the facts straight in a classic film like this!

Doesn't Carrie Fisher's daughter go by Billy? I think I heard that somewhere.

1. The Police Chief, under much stress, made a mistake. That is not a goof on the movie's part but a realistic thing the chief might have said.

3. Same as number 1. Shelley Winters character was under an extreme amount of stress and so got the names of the boys mixed up.

Letting Shelly wear beach attire.

Shes lucky a bunch of hippies didn't try to pull her out to sea thinking she was a beached whale.
