Was that a real snake they killed?

It looks damn well real when they shot its head off. Was it real?

That quick shot certainly does look real, but I suspect they used a rubber snake in the film -- which is probably good or bad news, depending on how you feel about snakes (and about rubber).

some girls like the snake without the rubber

"Was that a real snake they killed?"

This question is phrased wrong. If they killed something, it must've been real. If it wasn't real, it couldn't be called 'killing' anything, because there is no death involved with non-real snakes.

A better phrasing could be, for example: "Did they really kill a snake?" or "Was the snake whose head supposedly blew to bits in the movie, a real snake or a dummy one?" or something along those lines.

I wish people could stop to think for one second everything they say, before they actually let it out - there would probably be a lot less mistakes like this, and hopefully a lot less 'american typos' as well.

Your question is like asking: "Was that a real sound that we heard?"

I mean, obviously, if you heard something, it must have been a real sound, and the question becomes a joke on itself.
