I just finished this !!!!!! and I gotta say on my top 10 horror movies EASILY with others like ( Psycho , Repulsion, let the right one in and Rosemary's baby )
I want to praise one specific thing though THE MUSIC ! Christ ! I've never heard such a perfect balance between music and the scenes since the first time I saw Psycho and Three colors blue .
And I can't really figure out how someone would find this BORING
The plot is outstanding ,innovative and most importantly it's interesting and kept me hlodin' my breath all the fuc*ing time , the visual effects are way way more than charming.
And I won't even talk about its holy influence .
I think this movie deserves all the praise there is and ranking it one of the greatest horror movies and sometimes on some magazines one of the greatest movies ever made wasn't a big surprise after all :D .

Agreed! I usually don't really care for the background music but this was amazing, it worked so well and was so captivating!!

100% agree. The first time I saw this, it totally blew me away. The music was so immersive. That and the stunning visuals make this film so memorable and atmospheric. I'm not surprised it was originally described as "an assault on the senses". 9/10 from me too.

The main theme music was amazing! For me, it's up there with the Psycho theme, the Halloween theme, and "Tubular Bells" from The Exorcist as one of the greatest horror themes ever.

I love the soundtrack. I used the main theme for a music video I did for my film class years ago.

100% agree with the OP! The music is really essential in this movie and not just a random score. The best thing of this movie after the cinematography!

Suspiria without music is a car without engine.

The Goblins created the perfect score for an horror, all the tension is created by them, they were even more effective than Carpenter's ones.
