Question regarding the opening (spoiler)

So who was actually the first killer in the opening scene? I know the witch was responsible for all the killings but who actually did the killing? he had hairy arms so it was clearly a man.

anyone?

reply

The initial murders are carried out by a nameless, faceless (likely supernatural) minion of the witches.

Doesn't really matter who (or what) he is... It's not considered important to the story.

It was that weird servant guy, the one who looks like a bargain basement Lurch and lumbers around at the school. He's the killer in the beginning.

reply

Mmm the hair on the arms were blonde, not black.

And the killer was OUTSIDE the window during a storm, so I assume he wasn't a "real" person.

I figured it was a demon of some kind, we also see what appears to be a demon in some scenes of Inferno.

Considering that Sarah's body was reanimated to kill Suzy at the end, maybe it was a victim of the witches who was reanimated especially to kill.
