IBM typewriter to IBM computer keyboard keys and INCOM control sticks

What does a X-wing's control stick look like?

In the 1970s they began making keyboards for computers. Isn't there a keypad on the control stick of a x-wing?

Most of the sets and props were built from all sorts of random junk that they could get their hands on. luckily, star wars has a vast geek fandom, so finding this stuff is what they do.

Good luck to anyone trying to recreate that. Also, very ergonomic.

This is the most ridiculously meticulous scale modeling I've ever seen. And I follow several Trek modelers on YouTube and other places. This guy takes the cake.
