Quote from the film

I am convinced that when I first saw the film on its release in Ireland that in the scene involving Vic & Keith when Vic was watching his daughter perform in the horse show and Keith was expressing his concerns about things going wrong, Vic turned to him and in his strong Northern Ireland accent said: "The trouble with you Keith is that you've no faith". When I saw it again on TV and later on video, this line was not in it.

Did I imagine the original line or is my theory that it was edited out of TV & video versions because of its connotations in the context of the Northern Ireland conflict which was then at its height.

The line is in the new DVD release, so you might be right.
